Thank you for being patient, I know this post is long over due.
As you might know I was graciously invited to attend Village Wellness Spa 27th Anniversary Celebrations on June 16th, 2016. I had the pleasure of attending with one of my bestie Camille. We were greeted right when we went in by the Customer Service manager Jacqueline, who is a complete sweetheart! She gave us a tour of the facility and the treatment rooms. It was nice and had a high-end home type of relaxing feel to it (if that makes sense). I was snapchatting the entire tour (Snapchat: MakeupBySehar)
The iS Clinical Fire and Ice facial is also known as the “Red Carpet” facial because a lot of celebrities get it done before a red carpet event, and for good reason. It instantly brightens, smooths and tightens the skin. It is a clinical treatment designed to resurface the skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles and deep clean blocked pores. The facial begins with the “fire” which is an intensive resurfacing masque. The masque is clinically formulated with 18% unbuffered glycolic acid, lactic acid, citric acid, malic acid, retinol, vitamin B3 and potent antioxidants, including green tea extracts. This was the white mask from my snapchat. It does tingle your face when it starts working. To be honest I didn’t like this part much. It was a little irritating, but thankfully it is only applied for a couple of minutes, and you can actually feel it working.
After the “fire” treatment is done, the “ice” is applied. This was a rejuvenating mask designed to cool and soothe the skin. And man did it ever do that. It is an intensively hydration masque containing hyaluronic acid, aloe vera gel, Japanese green tea extracts, licorice extracts, grape seed extracts and rosemary extracts. This definitely was the best part for me. Suzanne from iS Clinical used their blue balls like equipment (not even joking) to penetrate the cooling masque in my skin. IT FELT AWESOME. I suddenly forgot what the ‘fire’ felt like. After the facial was done I was actually glowing. My pores were smaller, my skin looked even, and most of the texture in my skin was gone. I received compliments on my skin right away (yay for no makeup days) The results were even better the day after. Overall, I would definitely recommend this facial. It is so worth the fire to get the ice and have your skin looking amazing after. I also got the chance to try iS Clinical products, and I am so in love with them! My favorite one is their Treat Youth Eye Complex and their Cleanse Tri-Active Exfoliant.
Next, I received a NuFace lifting treatment from Susan. You have to do one side of your face at a time. After 15 minutes of getting a ‘facial lift’ you can see a visible difference in your facial contour, your cheek bones look higher and your eyes look wider. It was amazing! I snap chatted this because I could not believe the results. I really want to buy one. It is completely worth it. Hello future mini NuFace!
Last I got my makeup done from Ashley who is a makeup artist for Jane Iredale. It is a mineral cosmetic line that also has skin care benefits. I wasn’t to familiar with it but all the products Ashley used on me felt great. It also helped that a lot of them also smelled delicious. The products stayed on and didn’t irritable my freshly peeled skin.
I also had the opportunity to meet the spa owners Mabel and Janet who were so sweet and had a smile of their face the entire time. I honestly loved Village Wellness, and I can’t to go back for more treatments! Thank you again Village Wellness Spa for having me.
